 KCYS (Kerry Community Youth Service), is seeking a dynamic and experienced

Family Support Services Manager

to lead the strategic and operational management of our Intensive Family Support Project. The service is relationship-based, trauma-informed, strengths-based and outcomes-focused. It works in partnership with families, Tusla and other professionals to strengthen parenting capacity, improve safety and wellbeing, support placement stability and achieve sustainable change.  As a member of the Senior Management Team, the Manager will lead a skilled multidisciplinary team, shape the future direction of the service, maintain strong commissioning and interagency relationships, and ensure that delivery is safe, effective, accountable and demonstrably improving outcomes for children and families.

 

KCYS is a youth-focused organisation committed to providing meaningful support to young people and families. Our Family Support Project is funded by TUSLA. We are committed to committed to empowering young people and families through inclusive, rights-based, and trauma-informed services. We work collaboratively with statutory and community partners to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families across Kerry.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Family Support Project
  • Oversee case delegation, service delivery, and data collection for reporting and continued service development
  • Support and supervise a multidisciplinary team in a trauma-informed, values-led environment
  • Collaborate with TUSLA, statutory agencies, and community partners to enhance service outcomes
  • Prepare professional reports for internal and external stakeholders, including child protection conferences and court settings

Contract: 35 hours/week | 12 month Fixed Term, with expected continuation subject to funding
