KCYS Community youth work

Through the identification of gaps in youth work provision for 12 to 24 year olds in Kerry, KCYS endeavours to provide for the needs of young people through a variety of developmental and interest-based programmes. This provision includes face-to-face and online youth work,

KCYS Killorglin is the only KCYS Youth Centre providing universal youth work. Young people can call directly to the centre to avail of the youth café and group work provisions.

In addition to our Killorglin Youth Centre, KCYS provides a variety of programmes and longer-term projects, on a County-wide basis, subject to available funding and resources. They include summer programmes, special interest groups, art projects, inter-generational programmes, European exchanges and youth café provision.
