Kerry Community Youth Service (KCYS) is a community-based youth work organisation committed to serving all young people in a safe, fun and positive environment, through the provision of youth spaces, services, mentoring, training and ongoing opportunities for their holistic development.
We are currently seeking applications for:
Volunteer Support Worker
Tralee based with a county wide remit, Fixed Term Contract, 35 hours per week,
26 days pro rata annual leave, paid sick leave scheme, flexible working, EAP.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual who will support volunteer-led youth projects across the county. This role involves empowering volunteers, managing volunteer recruitment and screening, providing training, and ensuring quality standards and affiliation criteria are met. Excellent communication, organisational skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with volunteers are crucial. A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends, is required to meet the needs of the service.
