Youth Information
KCYS Youth Information provides a free, confidential information service to young people (12-25) and those who work with them on a wide range of subjects including careers, education, employment matters, rights and entitlements, leisure, sport, travel and European opportunities. Youth Information is a KCYS managed service funded under the Department of Education and Youth (DEY) through Kerry Education & Training Board (KETB).
In line with our European Counterparts, ERYICA: European Youth information and Counselling Agency and Youth Work Ireland we provide information to young people which is Independent, Accessible, Inclusive, Needs Based, Empowering, Participative, Ethical, Professional and Proactive. Youth Information Chat Link
Through the online Youth Information Chat Service (YIChat), young people can access an online chat service, connecting with trained Youth Information Staff on Mon – Fri, between 4pm – 8pm and leave offline messages outside of these hours.
